# Seamark > Seamark is a personal voyage log for sailing trips, an open-source hobby project. A sailor logs trips, legs, boats, crew and charter details, and imports GPX tracks, which the server cleans into statistics (distance, time underway, average and sustained top speed, night hours) and the countries and sea areas each voyage visited. A trip can be shared read-only with its crew or through a public link. An MCP server lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT read and keep the log on a signed-in user's behalf. ## Help - [User manual](https://seamark.app/help): User manual — What Seamark is · Signing in · Your first voyage, end to end · The logbook · Trips · Legs · GPX tracks and the audit trail · Ships … - [Where do I get a GPX file?](https://seamark.app/help/gpx): How to get a GPX file of your track out of Navionics Boating, Garmin, OpenCPN, Raymarine or OsmAnd, to import into Seamark. - [Get your track out of Navionics Boating](https://seamark.app/help/gpx/navionics): Export a track recorded in the Navionics Boating app as a GPX file, and import it into Seamark. - [Get your track out of a Garmin chartplotter](https://seamark.app/help/gpx/garmin): Save a Garmin chartplotter track to a memory card and turn it into a GPX file with Garmin BaseCamp, to import into Seamark. - [Get your track out of OpenCPN](https://seamark.app/help/gpx/opencpn): Export a track recorded in OpenCPN as a GPX file from the Route Manager, and import it into Seamark. - [Get your track out of a Raymarine Axiom](https://seamark.app/help/gpx/raymarine): Save the tracks on a Raymarine Axiom display to a memory card as a GPX file, and import it into Seamark. - [Get your track out of OsmAnd](https://seamark.app/help/gpx/osmand): Record a track with the OsmAnd app on Android or iPhone and share it as a GPX file, to import into Seamark. - [A sailing résumé from your logbook](https://seamark.app/help/sailing-resume): Some charter companies ask for a sailing résumé on their own form.
