Before a Yachtmaster exam, the RYA asks for documented sea time on a seagoing yacht in the last 10 years, at least half of it in tidal waters. Its minimums, from its own pages:
The RYA also limits the size of the vessel, and some minimums are lower if you already hold certain RYA certificates; its pages give the exact terms.
In your résumé, choose the last 10 years: the Experience table shows your distance and days at sea, overall and as skipper, with your night hours below it. The tidal waters, the boat sizes and the passages over 60 miles are for you to check against the voyages listed, and their legs in your log.
Under Decree No. 315/2000 Coll., a Czech licence to command a sea-going yacht issued from 1 January 2019 is valid for 10 years. To renew one with grade C, B or A, the Czech Maritime Office asks for proof of at least 500 nautical miles at sea as the yacht's skipper in the 10 years before the licence expires. In its own words:
dokladem osvědčujícím praxi na jachtě v délce námořní plavby nejméně 500 námořních mil ve funkci velitele námořní jachty v posledních 10 letech před skončením doby platnosti tohoto průkazu
It takes that proof as an extract from the logbook confirmed by the yacht's skipper or by a coastal state's maritime office, or as a record of practice, such as a personal sailing record book (jachtařská knížka), written only by the yacht's skipper:
výpisem z lodního deníku, který je potvrzený velitelem jachty nebo námořním úřadem pobřežního státu
listinou se zápisy praxe na jachtě (např. jachtařskou knížkou), které provedl výhradně velitel jachty
A holder of grade B or A who cannot show it is issued a licence one grade lower.
In your résumé, choose “As skipper” and set From and To to the 10 years before your licence expires — the link below opens the last 10 years up to today. The Distance in the Experience table is then your miles as skipper. The résumé is not the confirmed extract or record of practice itself — use it to prepare one, and have it confirmed as the office requires.
Seamark computes every figure from the GPX tracks and entries you logged yourself. Nobody else has verified them, and the printed résumé says so. The authority or examiner decides what evidence it accepts.
